Our journey of learning pickleball from A to Z begins with building a solid FUNdamental foundation. Mondays, Beginners Clinic for levels 2.75 to 3.00 (12:00 to 1:15 pm) There will be 4 players on each court with an instructor or assistant.
We will meet at 1 pm by court P15 and play on courts P11, P13, and P15 with 1 instructor and 2 assistants for 12 players. Please bring a paddle with your name and contact information on it, a ball, a name tag, suntan lotion, maybe a cold drink, and a smile! In the event that courts are full, programs may be delayed. Since we cannot reserve courts, these sessions will depend on court availability. Please sign up for only the one level that best describes your playing level. Signups are on PlayTime Scheduler each week. Sessions are run by Chuck Kaspar, PPR Certified Pickleball Instructor, as well as club volunteers. Moving on Up - Skills and Drills (PAPC members only, beginning June 6)Įach week will be a stand-alone clinic, so it will be a week-by-week signup process through PlayTime Scheduler. Upcoming Getting Started sessions will be announced a few days in advance based on weather forecast and availability of volunteers. We regret that we do not have the court capacity to offer these sessions to non-residents, and encourage those who live in other communities to call their recreation departments for information about classes and courts nearby. No reservation necessary, no prior experience necessary, no equipment necessary, no club-membership necessary. A Club volunteer will be hosting a Getting Started session for Palo Alto residents three or four times a month at the courts near the Magical Bridge Playground (see dates and times below).
